Residency & Player Movement Guidelines

• Non-resident players may participate in:
• U18 AAA (Male)
• U17 AAA (Male)
• U18 AAA Female
• U18 AA Female

Player Release Pathway: U18 Flow Chart

• U18 AAA Releases:
• Players born in 2009/2010 move to U17 AAA
• RD Players born in 2008 move to U18 AA
• 2008 Born Non-resident players return to their home Minor Hockey Association
• U17 AAA Releases:
• 2009 players - move to U18 AA
• 2010 players - move to U16 AA
• 2010 players released to attend U16 A (2010 players released may request to attend U18 AA)
• U18 AAA Female Releases:
• RD Players - move to U18 AA Female
• Non-residents - returned to home association
• U18 AA Female Releases:
• RD Players - move to U18 Tiered Female
• Non-residents -  return to home association
• U18 AA Releases (Male):
• Players - move to U18 A-C

• September 7, 2025 - Session 1
• September 9, 2025 - Session 2 (releases to follow)

• August 26, 2025 - Session 1
• August 28, 2025 - Session 2 (releases to follow)

• September 14, 2025 - Goaltender Session
• September 16, 2025 - Scrimmages Begin
• September 21, 2025 - Team Selection
