U13AA Female team brought home the South Division Banner for the AFHL

Our Central Alberta Twins U13AA Female team brought home the South Division Banner for the AFHL. The Twins had two action packed weekends of playoffs. First weekend they were playing Calgary Fire White who was 4th overall for the season and the Twins were 5th overall. We played the best of 3 series and the Twins took the series 2-0. This secured them a spot in the South Divisional Tournament. Coming into the tournament as the bottom seeded team. The Twins played Calgary Fire Red first and tied 2-2. Second game they played Calgary Fire Black, the top team in the league, and won 1-0. Third Game was against the Airdrie Lightning and they won 6-3. This secured the twins their spot in Provincials and took them to the final game against Calgary Fire Red. Both teams were equal going into the game with a tie and 2 wins. Central Alberta Twins WON the game 3-2 and won the South Divisional Tournament. The Twins are excited to head to Provincials and represent Central Alberta in Lloydminster on March 28th.
