Final Reminder - 2020/2021 Registration Deadline is May 31

Apr. 27, 2020

Registration is ongoing for the 2020/2021 season run May 1- May 31 as in years past.
A valid Respect in Sport Parent ID Number is required at the time of registration, Please ensure you have the number prior to starting the registration process.

Through a statement, Hockey Canada has said they will decide when minor hockey will return with the guidance of public health officials.
Until then, "they cannot provide an accurate or fair comment on the state of minor hockey".
Red Deer Minor Hockey will be ready to go, as soon as we get the go ahead.

In an effort to ease any financial burden, we have implemented a Registration fee deferral policy.
In order to properly plan and prepare for next season it is important that families register during this time period. Players registering for City League programming, will only be required to pay $50 at the time of registration. Players registering to tryout for Elite and High Performance teams, are responsible to pay only the Tryout fee.  The balance of fees are required to be paid in full prior to the October 31 deadline. We encourage families to make payments leading up to the deadline by logging into their Ramp Registration account.

The link to Ramp Registration, the registration fee table and all required forms can be found at under the Registration tab.

The application deadline for Head Coaching positions is May 31, 2020.
We are accepting Coaching applications for all AA, Elite, A, City League and Intro to Hockey Divisions.

Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta are working on protocols to determine the best course of action for on-ice play. We will share developments with RDMH membership as they occur.
Official start dates will be published to our website as soon as they are confirmed.
Should no delay to season start occur, High Performance teams can anticipate beginning in early September, Elite teams mid September and City League teams, the first week of October.
U-11 Players trying out for Elite teams should anticipate attending 4 on-ice skill sessions prior to Tryout sessions beginning. There will be no cost to participate in these sessions.

Hockey Canada has introduced age division names changes for all levels of minor hockey starting this fall. The changes create a simpler and more consistent reference for parents registering their children.
