Team Staff Requirements

Coach Requirements

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader (RIS AL)

• Mandatory to participate:
• help on ice for practices
• be on the bench for games.
• No exceptions — must be completed before participating.
   Take/Check RIS AL Course Here

Background Check (with VSC)

• All coaches must complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
   Request Volunteer Letter & Apply Here

Upload Deadline

• VSC must be uploaded to the coach profile in Spordle by Oct 15.
   Login to Spordle

 Important:  Coaches who do not have their Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or the submission receipt uploaded to their Spordle - Coach Profile by October 15 will be ineligible to participate until compliant.

Collecting information

• Managers record RIS AL & VSC expiry dates shown by the coach in their Spordle -Coach profile under qualifications (RIS AL) and History (VSC).

Manager & Treasurer Requirements

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader (RIS AL)

• Managers require RIS AL only if added to roster (to sign or have your name on the game sheets).
• Treasurers do not require RIS AL.

Criminal Record Check (CRC)

• Managers & Treasurers must submit a basic CRC that is less than 3 years old.
• Drop checks off at the office.
