Coach Requirements

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader (RIS AL)

Mandatory to participate:

help on ice for practices
be on the bench for games.

No exceptions — must be completed before participating.

Background Check (with VSC)

All coaches must complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).

Upload Deadline

VSC must be uploaded to the coach profile in Spordle by Oct 15.
Login to Spordle

Important: Coaches who do not have their Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or the submission receipt uploaded to their Spordle - Coach Profile by October 15 will be ineligible to participate until compliant.

Collecting information

Managers record RIS AL & VSC expiry dates shown by the coach in their Spordle -Coach profile under qualifications (RIS AL) and History (VSC).

Manager & Treasurer Requirements

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader (RIS AL)

Managers require RIS AL only if added to roster (to sign or have your name on the game sheets).
Treasurers do not require RIS AL.

Criminal Record Check (CRC)

Managers & Treasurers must submit a basic CRC that is less than 3 years old.
Drop checks off at the office.
