Sutter Fund U13 A Celebrating a very successful regular season

Sutter Fund U13A has had a VERY successful campaign so far, securing 1st place in league play with an UNDEFEATED record of 15-0-2!

The teams overall record for the season is 27-2-7, with the only 2 losses at the hands of Calgary U13AA female teams.

We have attended 2 travel tournaments, the first was a Female AA tournament hosted by the Girls Hockey Calgary association, and we won that tournament, bringing home a pretty cool banner! We also got the opportunity for redemption for one of our earlier losses to one of the Calgary AA teams, beating them in the Final game!

The girls just attended a predominately boys U13 tier 3 tournament in Redwater, and won that tournament as well! We shocked the boys teams flying out of the gates beating a stunned Edmonton team, by double digits, then continued on to defeat another Edmonton team, Stony Plain, and the hosts in the Gold Medal Final Game, in a heated battle, our side scoring in the last 5 minutes to secure the game!

The girls are now headed into playoffs in 1st place, and have hopes to continue our success through the rest of the season!
