Respect In Sport Parent (RISP)
The Respect in Sport Parent Program helps define a standard of behaviour for all parents and create a more rewarding, safe and respectful environment for everyone involved. Parents want to do a great job supporting their kids. Respect in Sport provides parents with the tools to do just that
Parents are required to complete the Respect in Sport program. Certification in the Respect in Sport program is valid for up to four seasons and is associated with a June 1 expiry date.
The Respect in Sport Program is an online certification program designed to protect our youth as well as enhance Hockey Alberta’s mandate of providing a safe and fun environment for all of our participants. It is Canada’s leading online bullying, abuse, harassment, and negligence prevention program for parents, coaches, and community leaders. It is offered in two different streams
RIS - Help Desk

1. Go to hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com and click on "Helpdesk Support" in the lower left corner of the login page, or log into the program and click on the "Help" tab in the banner.
2. Go to support.respectgroupinc.com, and click on "Contact Us."

I want to add another child to my RISP Certificate
In order to add a child to your Parent Program certificate, you will need to log in using your existing username and password.
You may add as many children as required to your Parent Program certificate.
- Go to the Program where you originally completed your parent certification and log in.
- Go to the "Profile" link in the upper-left of your dashboard
- Click the button labeled "Child Management"
- From this menu you can edit a child's details, or create a new entry for another child. Enter the child's details as prompted by the form, and click to save the entry.
