U13 APLS Chiefs take Silver

The U13A Red Deer APLS Chiefs took home the silver medal in West Country Tournament held in Caroline on Jan 13-15.  
The Chiefs played hard all weekend and earned a spot in the Gold medal game against Cochrane.  After a slow start and heading into the 3rd period down 2 goals the Chiefs battled back and knotted it up at 3 a piece with 5 minutes to play.  Cochrane scored in the final 5 minutes to win 4-3.  Our Chiefs showed up and played their hearts out.  Many proud moments throughout the weekend!  
The team also received a compliment from the tournament director on just how polite our kids were!
