Giving back at Ronald McDonald House

Show some Chiefs Spirit of giving!

@ Ronald McDonald House Red Deer

The social committee have been talking about opportunities for the boys to give back to the community, show some chief spirit!  Around the Christmas season we all know some families have harder times providing gifts to their kids due to multiple factors. One main factor which often gets forgot about is kids in the hospital. Red Deer has the central Alberta Ronald McDonald house that houses the families of sick kids. Ronald McDonald House is open to these families and provides gifts to the entire family staying at the house and the child in the hospital at Christmas.  We are hoping our chiefs would be up to collecting gifts and delivering them to the Ronald McDonald house, they are really in need of baby toys and teen gifts ( gift cards etc). 

I have tentatively booked us to go DEC 12 /2024 at 630 pm. 

What this would entail:

Deliver a gift and put it under the tree at the RMH

Take a picture with the toys and the Christmas tree

Take a tour of the facility 

Last year they provided treats for the kids but this I can’t guarantee.
